When I say queen of hearts,
first thing that comes to mind is a card in a standard deck of cards and second is a character, a classic villain from Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
Then you'll probably say your wife, girlfriend or may be crush or some female celebrity....Well that won't be wrong...That's because it's an individual choice...
But I say the real queen of hearts is - Mother.....
Why???
That's because, Mother hold a special place in our heart. Mere remembering her stir our emotions. There is a deep and unexplainable connection between mother and child...
I believe every women is different but All Mother's are the same.....
A role a mother plays in one's life differs depending on what kind of mother she is, single, working or a housewife...No matter what she is or what she does, everybody thinks that their Mother is the best and they'll site thousands of reasons to support their answer....
When you describe characteristics of a woman you'll mention individual attributes likes beautiful, practical, self reliant, adventurous, knowledgeable, emotional etc...But when you describe a mother the every single attribute mentioned will apply to every mother on this earth I.e. Loving, caring, patient, flexible, accepting, dedicated, generous, supportive, forgiving, sacrificing, trustworthy, understanding, helpful, balanced....Etc..... (Well these are the qualities that comes to my mind, when I think of my mother)
Furthermore, if I ask you to tell something about your mother other than what she does or did in your life and the common sentences would be....
* She is the reason of my existence...
* Oh! she is the best mom ever.....
* My mom means the world to me....
* I could not ask for a better mother....
* Ah! She is perfect in every way....
* All that I am, I owe to my mother...
* She is the greatest gift from God.....
* No one can take her place....
* She is my backbone...
* Life's easy when she is around....
I don't have words to describe her role in a family or in life of her kids....No adjective is complete enough to complement her for all the dedication, devotion and sacrifices...
I believe in my theory that mother's have telepathy powers....She is the one who understands silence, can read face and mind...So i am sure my message will reach her...
Mother's are true queen of hearts because she is the one person whose heart beats in her body but for her family and kids....
Now I am a mother to 5 yrs old son and I know the troubles and worries that a mother goes through. The day I held my son in my arms, the connection I found with my mother is divine and with time I realized the bond got stronger and stronger...I had really tough time growing up, with lots of troubles in a race to find my identity. If she has not been there supporting me I don't know what mess my life had been. She was and will always be special person in my life. I don't live with her anymore, in India girls leave there parents home after marriage so did I, I miss everything about her...
The way she use to pamper me, treated me like a real princess, the way she listened to all my thoughts and even understood my silence, the lip smacking food she served with a smile and even her scoldings...
I am a complete women with my family, a caring husband and a loving son but there is part in me that's hollow with her not being there with me and there is nothing I can do to fill that void.
I have never expressed my love for her in words but I know she is a superwoman with power of telepathy...The things that goes in my mind she can read everything...I always feel her powers strongly whenever I am upset I receive a call from her asking, "Is everything OK??" or whenever I feel weak she transfer her powers to me simply by talking to me. I feel the positive energy around me whenever she is around.
Well not just my mother I am sure every Mother in the world is a superwoman.
Today might be mother's day but I believe everyday is Mother's day because love cannot be packed in a box with shinny paper waiting to be sent on a special occasion....But that doesn't mean I should miss the chance to wish her....
Time for me to call my queen of hearts 😊
