Halloween is dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.
Just like we Indians have "Shraddha", a 15 day long festival celebrated just before navratri in autumn. In which we remember the departed souls of our ancestors.
Both festivals have different origins, different methodolgy but still both pay tribute to spirits and celebrate death and the afterlife.
We don't celebrate Halloween here in India like in west. My son is 4 yrs old, he has no idea what Halloween is but he saw some cartoon where kids dress up and ask for treat, since then he went all yanky to dress up like zombie...
Dressing up like ghost and roaming is not the best idea when everybody around you has no idea about Halloween..
But all thanks to Photo Lab App..Its not the same like dressing up but still something is better than nothing... It definitely made him smile.
